| Marie Moine installée à Oyster Pond depuis 12 ans, a lié son art à son île. Elle trouve son inspiration dans son environnement. Chaque détails des décors est pensé : plantes, fruits, costumes, petites cases, gingerbread typiques éléments de l’architecture antillaise. Puis c’est la rencontre de la création avec le feu à 1000°C, suivant la méthode traditionnelle de « grand feu ». Coupes, assiettes, boites, bols etc… sont tous certifiés avoir été décorés artisanalement dans son atelier d’Oyster Pond. Marie Moine , in Oyster Pond for over 12 years has integrated the island into her art. The environment provided her inspiration. Every single detail is planed : local plants and fruits, dress, wonderful Creole cabin, gingerbread, a typical element of Caribbean architecture. Then, creation meets fire, at 1800° F, following the traditional methods of “Big fire”. Plates, bowls, boxes etc… are appropriately decorated and certified as being hand made in her work shop.
